if you are seeing slow response or outages from your favorite Packetcluster, there is a large denial of service attack going on that compromises a wide variety of Internet connected devices (security cameras, even mattresses...) running versions of Linux and then goes out and looks for IP addresses that are running Telnet (like Packetclusters) and then tries to crash them. Frank W3LPL says his cluster has been hit by this.

Clusters that don't use the default Telnet port 23 are probably avoiding the attack and you may find that your favorite cluster is changing the port number and you will have to add the new port number after the URL, as in telnet://dxc.favoritecluster.com:2323 or something like that.

In N1MM+ that will mean editing the cluster list in the Telnet window until an updated N1MM+ version comes out. But, you will only need to do something if your cluster changes that port.
