[CVCC_Members] ARRL DX CW 2017

If we can get commitments from the membership to fill the chair for the
duration, I'll open the station. Please note that the Yagi is not yet
rotatable, but can be fixed in one direction for the duration. If we again
get limited participation, I've no interest in hosting.

NICE JOB BOB!

Yes I had a little score (474,189).Rig broke and I was using my old Paragon.
It is not much of a contest rig. Today I picked up an OMNI SIX. That seems
to be much better than the Paragon. My main problem was RF getting into the
computer and locking it up! On 15 I could only run 35 watts but at least
propagation was pretty good and I worked most I called. I'll send off my O7
tomorrow and get it fixed. It will still be my main rig but It's nice to
have a good backup. The Paragon will go up for sale.

Sejo gave points to PVRC! How sad and disappointing. I am no longer a
member of that group. I told them to stick my membership up into a place
where the sun don't shine!

And I also ask - Are there more ARRL DX CW scores from CVCC members. How
about "W"? We are not real long on CW ops nor any contesters for that
manner. Will anyone do the SSB portion of the contest. No excuses - we all
can talk!

Puck W4PM
