The ARRL web site has a good article and warning of giant hogweed in the
PVRC  &  New England area.

Go and google  " GOOD HOUSE KEEPING ARTICLE ON GIANT HOG WEED" The
article shows the dangers of severe burns and photos of the plant.  IN
Clark county , VA ,  a young man was severely burned by such a plant.
IF  you find one growing around your tower or in your beverage field,
Round Up will kill it  in time. Sap from the plant causes 3RD degree burns !
