Sounds like a power surge. Seems like I remember reading somewhere that the 7300 has 3 fuses? If still dead after verifying all fuses are okay then sending it for repair estimate would probably be best. Yesterday evening we went out for a birthday dinner for our daughter??got back a few hours later and walked in the shack hit the space bar on my pc to wake the monitor, nothing! Noticed the HF rig (IC-7300) was off also, it looks like there was a power surge? This a.m. I got the Astron power supply out from under the desk and disconnected all devices , powered up and still get 13.5v but! I checked the two 25 amp fuses to the 7300 and they were blown. Could this be a power supply failure sending a surge or what? It also killed the power supply to the PC; Dell has dispatched a tech to replace that since it is still under warranty. Should I try to get the 7300 repaired or just bury it? Any an all input would be greatly appreciated!! 73, Dennis N4DEN _._,_._,_ ________________________________ Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
